UN has begun relocating refugees fleeing famine and conflict in Somalia from the insecure outskirts of the world’s most populous camp, where starving Somalis face a wide array of dangers, into a new extension to help cope with overcrowding.
Tens of thousands of Somalis have died this year of hunger-related causes, according to the UN, and 3.7 million people need urgent food aid. More than 12 million people in the Horn of Africa are in need of immediate food aid
